DECHETERIE
Two hours of multilayered constant metamorphosis performance
in C12 on Vera Moro's DJ set for Call of Dirty Pride edition.
In a post-apocalyptic garbage dump scenery, a restrained body ramps on the ground, gradually shedding and adding layers of trash, folding and tearing the plastic membranes wrapped around it. Its right limb restrained by a plaster cast (the 5th metacarpal bone of my right foot broke two weeks prior to the event (last picture)), it enters a quest to escape the ableism looks on sexualised flesh. Trash bags, medical bandages, unreadable torn books and dark cellophane wrap choke its flesh in order to hide its injury and spreads across that corpse stuck to the ground. Lit by scattered red and white light beams and the cameras' flashes, the audience takes part of an act of complicit voyeurism and decides the worth of a dehumanised agonising being dancing for entertainment.

Cicatrice
Five minute performance exposing the cicatrisation process that followed
a traumatic blood-shedding event on "Je t'aime encore - Yelle".
"Cicatrice" is the latest form of the serie of a multimedia art productions exploring the healing process of the fine line between omnipotence and mortality. Intact barriers, clean skins hide from one's sight the atrocious vulnerable secret of its underlying raw organic living tissues. Out in the world, it spills, drips, ridiculously fragile mass of fat and blood which once was thought to be made out of steel. Using tubes and the communicating vessels phenomenon, the wounds are purged through the streams of fake bloody tears, acknowledgement on the finite matter that
we are. The pictures underneath are put in reverse chronological order.

Parasite
Five minutes effeuillage performance recreating the life cycle of the black parasitic wasp
on "In the Next Life - Kim Petras" initially created for Send In the Clowns

Chalcid wasps are small parasitic wasps, averaging 1.5 mm in length that lay eggs in soft moth and butterfly chrysalises. Feeding off its host, the larvae eventually kill it and continue to mature inside the armoured cocoon. The adult wasps then emerge from the chrysalis to restart the cycle. The biomimetic literal reinterpretation of an insect reproductive parasitic behaviour can be understood as a gate to the inner self, sometimes infested by negative/detrimental thoughts and patterns leading to a slow psychic autodestruction. Giving a shape and life to the mechanics of self-sabotage reveals its unsuspected dark beauties ultimately launching a new community acknowledgment healing process.

FUNERAILLES
Five minutes performance on "Fresh Start - Roscoe", an homage to my deceased father.
This performance is based on the video clip of "Fresh start - Roscoe", a music band from Liège, portraying an eerie routine of an iceskating athlete dying on stage. Across repetitive "out of balance" spinning and fluid movements, I try to transcend through dizziness and leave behind my material grieving mortal envelop to reach the immortal quintessence of life resilience. Performed initially at the event Just the Tip (by Call me Brenda) in which performers are being handed fake money bills, I metaphorically approached the drag dollars as gestures of compassion. Wrapped in double sided tape, the audience could cover me with their compassion as I last twirled along the stage, unknowingly recreating the last touch / the last flower given to a coffin before burial/cremation. Collapsing under two pursuit spotlights, I peacefully reach the light for my last breath, exhaling my last wish for a fresh start.
